Limitations
in the mobile devices and challenges in the cloud environment together bring
several issues in implementing a cloud solution in the current infrastructure.
There is no doubt that the MCC technology is providing valuable benefits for
the organization. According to Shahzad and Hussain, there is a less number of
the cloud service users in spite of several benefits with the MCC technology.
The major issues for adopting the MCC technology is privacy and security
aspects (Shahzad & Hussain, 2013, p. 39). Chaubey and Tank
report that to overcome the issues of data security and data privacy in the MCC
framework, the researchers have proposed different solutions which are suitable
for the cloud computing environment. But due to the limitations of the mobile
devices, the same security methodologies will not be applicable to the MCC (Chaubey
& Tank, 2016, p. 1265). On the other hand,
the cloud service users are unable to effectively use the cloud computing
technology through the mobile devices due to several restrictions and
limitations of the mobile devices. According to Statista, there is an increase
in the number of cloud computing service users from 2.4billion to 3.6billion by
2018 (Statista, 2017). Thus, an increasing
trend of the cloud computing users for the present MCC technology with several
issues shows an effect on the users using the cloud computing technology.

The
main aim of the current project is identifying the major issues in the MCC
technology and then, identifying the impact of the issues in the MCC technology
on the user’s experience.

primary objective of the current project is recognizing the current issues in
the MCC technology which are the critical factors in implementing a mobile
cloud service for mobile devices.

The
following set of objectives will be performed for meeting the project
requirements and to increase the validation for the current project;

conduct a literature review in the field of MCC and studying its current role
in the present business era.

explore and understand the MCC framework.

conduct quantitative research method for determining the current issues in the

The
aforementioned objectives are implemented to meet the main aim of the present
research work.

1.4.Methodology

 A secondary research methodology has been
followed in doing the current research work. The different authors’ opinions
will be used as the source in identifying the major issues in implementing the
mobile cloud service with the existing infrastructure. The information related
to the advantages of the MCC for the SMEs, MCC architecture, and critical
success factors of the MCC were collected from the scholarly articles and
journals to avoid the biased information.

1.5.Structure
of the Report

In
Chapter1, overview, problem definition, proposed solution, aims and objectives,
research questions, and research methodology are discussed. The remainder of
the thesis report is structured as follows;

Chapter2
covers the literature review of the MCC technology. In this section, the
following three core aspects will be discussed that bring out all the important
information in better understanding the MCC technology. Firstly, the advantages
and disadvantages of the MCC for the SMEs will be discussed. Secondly, the major
issues in the MCC framework. Thirdly, the critical success factors of adopting
the MCC for the organizations will be discussed.

Chapter
3 discusses the research methodology used in the present research work. The
qualitative research methods and experimental research methods, sampling
techniques, and research methods are discussed. Furthermore, the data analysis,
research process, validity, and limitations of current research are presented.

Chapter
4 presents a findings of the qualitative and experimental research conducted in
the present research work of the MCC.

Chapter
5 involves analysis of the findings from the research and providing justifying
statements in regards to the research questions.

Chapter6
discusses a recommendation list for the MCC technology. This chapter discusses
the possible measures that the organizations can be implemented to overcome the
challenges in implementing the mobile cloud service. It also provides
conclusion for the research report and future work which will be done in near
